Annual FCA Rodeo

Mark the third weekend in August on your calendars—it's rodeo time!

Beginning Friday, August 16, 2024 afternoon/evening, the annual Didsbury FCA Rodeo is a top-notch event, complete with concessions, activities for the kids, and great times for all.

​

The FCA rodeo continues with another performance on Saturday, August 17 and always delivers great entertainment as skilled contestants match up against some of the best stock around. There are, of course, all the fan-favourite events that make a rodeo a rodeo, such as:

• Bareback riding

• Saddle bronc riding

• Tie-down roping

• Team roping

• Steer wrestling

• Barrel racing

• Steer riding

• Bull riding 

 

And, there is the mutt'n bustin' and events for the kids! 

​

The rodeo clown will keep you laughing between events, and the kids can take a ride around the grounds in an open-car train, or dig in the sand pit for coins to spend at the food truck.

​

While at the grounds, you can enjoy some great food while you take in the action from stands or the shade of the multi-purpose building. However you choose to enjoy the rodeo weekend, we know you will have a great time—see you there!
